Project Details - I have mapped out a plan to build a solid rakeback brand. While putting this plan into action I ran out of money. I tried selling links on my other sites and content to fund this project. However, the money is not coming fast enough and I realize it would be much faster to just take on one or two financial partners to share in the profits to come. I will do 100% of the work as I have lots of time on my hands.

Site Details - Rakeback site powered by PAS. There will be a forum and clothing store added in the near future. The site will earn revenue from rakeback deals, rev share deals, CPA deals, clothing store sales.

Deal Offered
One time payment of $5,000 for 20% ownership and 20% of future revenues or One time payment of $10k for 40% ownership and 40% of future revenues. Only 40% of the site will be sold and I will retain 60% ownership of the website and future revenues.

I plan on being in this business for a very long time and I find it the perfect time for me to make my move to become one of the big names in this business because so many people are leaving the poker niche to focus on casino, bingo, sports betting, and non gaming niches.

How did you value your 4 month old site at $25k out of interest?

10k for 40% of incomes of site witch rank in google 0. Current incomes?

I understand your ambition on affiliate business. But let's think that someone pays 10k for 40%...how long you think it's gonna take to atleast get his money back? You must make around 25k for the partner to be in +-0 situation. Of course if you would be making that kind of amounts yearly it would quite good investment. But will you? For me it's hard to believe that someone pays that kind of amount, without any quarantee. Except if Guy Laliberté gets intersted

Anyway i wish you the best of luck and seriously hope to see you to get partner. What i'm saying is just that you must be quite crazy to invest 4 months year old site with PR0, probably no incomes at the moment, and be thinking you will get profit for your 10k, cause that's what the investors are looking for.

The site at Rakeback Rolls - Your Number 1 Choice For Online Poker Rakeback looks very good - well done. You obviously have a talent in this area.

However, the content on it is fairly limited with just a handful of generic items, and a series of tables and instructions for players on rakeback.

Your blog at May 2010 Income Report suggests that you made under $1000 this month - mostly from direct ads and content writing and that your Affiliate Marketing return (over ALL your sites) brought in just $38.12 in May - and this is after 6-8 months of affiliating?

While I understand that this RakeBackRolls is new - your track record in affiliate cash generation is not encouraging - so (as other posters have mentioned) it is hard to see how you came to the calculation that $5,000 buys just 20% of this site - as it could be decades before an investor gets their initial stake back - let alone a positive return.

Additionally, it's difficult to see why you need the cash for the site to grow, or what you would do with the investment? Is it an investment in the site - what will it be spent on?

Or is it simply an attempt for YOU to "cash up" your work on a nice looking site - rather than an investment as such.

I don't want to bash you KM, because the site is nicely laid out and you've provided some good information. But the valuation of the site is so massively out of scale with current value - and the details on the future investment so sketchy - that I feel you need to re-think your plan.

If you have/had a track-record in taking other affilaite sites from scratch to $x,xxx monthly revenue generation then perhaps you could sell on the potential of your plan - but right now I cannot see any reason for this valuation other than dreaming.

Oh wow, I totally forgot to say this thread is closed. I am no longer looking for investors. I found a way to fund my project.

As for the questions, yes I have a plan to go from $xx to $x,xxx a month. Without the funds I want it will take awhile but with the funds it wouldn't take long at all. I rather not reveal all the details so I am going to leave this thread on one note.
