Default RakeBack Domain - Future Not Decided

I have a domain that I haven't decided 100% what I'm going to do with it. It is poker rakeback dot org.

If you have any offers or ideas about the site let me know (buying it, partnering on it, etc), everything will be considered. If you are talking about partnering, what do you have to offer? I just have so much on my plate right now and it's down a ways on the to do list.

Just to let you know, I have plans to develop it on my own, but who knows when or if that will ever happen. So, just thought I'd see what other options are out there, not promising anything.

I don't feel so hot about the stand alone rakeback site anymore, if you have a network that you can create this and push existing traffic over that is great.

If you are interested in partnership - I can have content and a rakeback site on it within 10 days, to help it off the ground.....but serps signups aren't usually the greatest value players, they usually come from networking.

OK, which is something I really don't see myself spending a whole lot of time on. As of right now, I was thinking most SERPS traffic.

I am not very familiar with the rakeback market. Is player value generally poor from SERPS, or it's just that fact that it needs to be so much higher since commissions are so much smaller, hence networking with big players is the thing to do?

I think the issue is more so that players searching for rakeback are worth less than players who are informed about rakeback from friends, AKA big time players who are all friends with each other.

Yes exactly, but overtime if you rank well you will pull a lot of $20-$1.000 monthly MGR players and it does add up.

The domain for what its worth is not a HUGE value - I have dozens of rakeback domains I'm not using currently.

I would say, at least slap a PAS site up on the domain, but they don't rank very well so I reccomend a front end of your own design linking to their landing pages.

I don't agree with using PAS on it, I would get some special deals and go from there.. the only problem is that I know FT can be hard on new rakeback affiliates, but if I can go direct so can you.. Just sweet talk Nell

The domain is good though, I'm with MJ in that I don't think its a million dollar domain, but a good one..

Thanks for the input. I'm also with you that I don't think it's a million dollar domain. I bought the domain for just a couple hundred, just thought for that price I couldn't go wrong, especially if I want to get involved with rakeback.

I think I would go with a site like pokeraffiliatesolutions.com rather than work on rakeback deals on my own. I talked with them at the last CAP event, and it seems like the best option for me. Has anyone worked with them or a company similar? If so, what are your thoughts?

I've worked with PAS for 9 months now. I've never spoke to you before Jeremy, but if you want to hit me up, I'll gladly chat with you about it.

I also think it's a really solid domain and I would 100% develop it. It's obviously not as great as just rakeback.whatever, but it's a great domain for sure.

I only reccomend PAS because it didn't sound like he wanted to work much at it, so that's without a doubt the "turnkey solution", just thought I'd point that out fwiw.

The main reason I was thinking PAS was because it seems like it would be hard to beat 5% by getting my own deals. Something I'll look into before I decide one way or another. I like PAS for the fact that I can get 5% right away and have it all my stats/money in one place.
