PKR Mini-Site

It's with a slightly heavy heart that I'm selling my PKR mini-site. It was one of my first affiliate sites and is still generating new players for me today. However, as you can probably tell from the news feed, I just haven't had the time recently to keep the site updated, and I'm now looking to other projects.

Details are as follows:

Minimum Offer: $300
Age: Approx 18 months (domain registered November 2007)
# of Pages indexed: Google is currently listing 216 pages
General Type: The site is primarily a PKR news site with bonus code information included too
Where it is hosted: The site is currently hosted in the UK. The domain is registered with name.com.
Platform: The site is run on Wordpress, so the design and any future content updates can easily be ammended

Traffic: Traffic levels for the last two and a bit months are as follows (more information can be provided if requested)

April - 258
May - 323
June - 238 (so far)

PKR have always been a good converter for me and have been running a lot of advertising both on and offline over the past year or so. They have just upgraded their offering to further enhance their 3d software and encourage a greater community feel around the site.

PKRPoker3d.com would be idea for someone looking to get started in affiliating, or for a more experienced marketer looking to increase the reach of the mini-site network. The domain is keyword rich and has been aged.

There is an agreement in place to keep one of the links on the blogroll, other than that, you would be able to sell placements pretty much straight away.

Ok, with the introduction of the new guidelines on selling sites, domains etc I was hoping someone could let me know what general etiquette for selling sites like this is.

I've had a number of PM's from people offering me the $300. So what's the decent way of going about things?

- Do I accept the first offer?
- Set a BIN price
- Start some sort of auction

Smarface, I'll get the exact numbers for you once I get home but I'd suggest that I'm getting three or four sign ups a month from it.

Ok seriously, since you set a min offer and not a BIN - I would ask a mod to accept auction offers privately or publicly (some members will not do a public auction) so you have someone independent to verify the winning bid. There is no reason you should lose money selling to the first min offer in my opinion. Get all the $$$ you can.

I would start the bidding off and let it run for 24 hours. If I can help let me know

I've had a few PMs about this, so I wanted to post up here to thank everyone for their interest and to apologise if you feel I could have handled this better.

This is the first site I've sold and based on feedback, I should have posted a BIN in the post. I had a few PM's asking for a BIN price and when one of the posters met that price, it didn't seem right to back out of the deal.

Apologies if that has pissed a few people off - that obviously wasn't my intention.
