Can somebody explain to me how the hell is it possible that this domain name is worth only 200 bucks?
From my perspective this name is fantastic to promote casino rooms and for 200$ you only need like two players to deposit, is this correct?

I'm new to affiliate business so I'm not competent to value the market but...what the heck?

The practice of using expired domains could be good or bad. The problem I have with it is the unpredictability, which I’ll get to in a moment.

I will assume You know what your doing MJ when You buy domains and are making wise decisions. Much like buying a used car always do your research and find out the background of what you’re buying. The inherent problem is, the odds are stacked against You. If it was a good domain with value someone would have kept it or better yet sold it. Yet, mistakes are made and there are some definite gems out there and I would agree if you aren’t on the field you can’t score.

Is the website currently in a Penalty? Possibly, I don't like the fact it was not mentioned it was a dropped domain and after the first read it appeared he has owned it and developed it the past 5 years. After rereading I noticed he clearly posted in a odd way it was just a pick up domain with a main page added. Does this mean the gentleman was doing something shady? Of course not.... He was probably just looking for a quick buck nothing wrong with this either.

I simply recommend before buying a dropped domain to do research to insure its not going to be a waste of time and money.

You are an idiot. Go derail a thread elsewhere jerkoff.

I bought the domain in good faith and did nothing shady at all. I could rip on your bullshit sites and the shitty links that you build to them right before you sell them.

Is it penalized? If you would have searched Google you would see that it is the third result for "casino site reviews".

    Google

Go be a dumbass somewhere else and gtfo of this thread.

I never said You did anything shady. I clearly used bold ink assuming You couldn't read or comprehend well; as noted.

First, let's start with some basic definitions. When a site is banned, it is completely removed from the search engine's index of webpages. Essentially, it no longer exists. When a site is penalized, it is still included in the index and may appear for some rare search terms, but it will generally not rank well for any of its targeted search terms or "keywords".

It can be difficult to detect penalties since those sorts of things just go into the mix of how search engine ranking methods operate and a site that ranks poorly may be penalized or may simply not rank well for other reasons. Given how often Google experiments with its ranking methods, it is not unusual for a site's rankings to fluctuate even if the webmaster has made no significant changes for quite some time.

The reason this was brought up was simple, MJ asked a sarcastic question so I answered it. I have never had any attentions to make your domain look bad and actually your website is already sold so I don't see why your panties are all up and tight. The true matter of fact is You sold a dropped domain, Nothing wrong with that however You did not include this clearly in your original post. I will not lower myself to cat fights, I respect everyone here including yourself way to much for that.

Nothing personal and best of luck in the future
