Some of my pages are working with the 301 redirect, while others are not.
This was the OLD url...
http://www.onlinepokersitereviews.or...it-bonus-code/
This is the NEW url...
Doyles Room Bonus Code | Doyles Room Promo Code
This is the 301 redirect in my .htaccess...
redirect 301 /bonus-codes-2/doyles-room-deposit-bonus-code/ Doyles Room Bonus Code | Doyles Room Promo Code
This is what Google redirects to...
http://www.onlinepokersitereviews.or...it-bonus-code/
Which is not a page at all.
Why when I said it should redirect to bonus-codes/doyles-room does it add "deposit-bonus-code" to the end?
This makes no sense. Google is obviously picking up the 301, but is sending it to a page I never even typed anywhere.
???
EDIT: It is doing same on other pages in other sub folders as well.

When you use a rule for the root file and place it above the rule for the files within that directory, it will overwrite your other rules. Make sense? So in the example above, you would need to place that rule below your other rules for them to work properly.
