How to install same domain name

(Bad title I know )

Ok, so I'm with Bluehost and currently registered 2 domains which are the same but one is .org and the other .net. ...poker.org/.net

I just built a site on the .org and now I want to build the .net but both are in the same public html folder and the .net just redirects to the .org.

I suck with explaining things but hopefully someone understands and can tell me how I can install wp on the .net to build a site without overwriting the files for the .org...

When you add a domain to your account in bluehost under 'addon domains' you specify the folder you want it directed to in your public html. By default they use the name of the domain, so if you have the same domain in two different extensions then you'll have to specify a different folder name for one of them.

For example if you were using poker.com it would redirect to public_html/poker/ Now if you wanted to use poker.net as a separate site you would have to name the folder something like public_html/poker2/

I think that's what you mean.

Oh Flushdraw, thats really very nice information. And I also want to say that I was searching for the same but I was unable to find. But after reading this your post I came to know and get the proper idea. Hopefully now I will be able to solve my problem.
