Default ANY idea on why this keeps happening?

    Someone please help -

I've looked at this and actually tried to troubleshoot it a few months ago with the plugin creator. Also talked to the folks at PAS to no avail. They both tried their best to work with me so this is in no way a jab at their efforts.

EDIT - removed warnings because they showed the path to my internal folders

    Any tips/tricks to fix this?

I don't know anything about the PAS plugin, but may be able to help. What version of php are you running? simplexml_load_file() is a php5 function, so if you are running php4, it will give you this error.

If you ARE running php5, it could be a setting withing the php.ini file.

I'm now running php5 and using the simplexml_load_file command and now getting this one

EDIT - removed the warnings because they showed paths to my internal folders

I'm worried that allowing URL file access that it references above may make my site more vulnerable to attacks?

yes, it would, but only if the attacker had access to the server. I believe it's called Cross-site scripting - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.

bottom line, if you trust pas and you trust your host, you should be ok to turn this on.
