Default Plugin to Display International Characters

    Hey Guys,

I just spent hours trying to solve this problem I'm having trying to display Polish, Turkish, or Romanian special characters.

All of them become => ????? once I save the Wordpress post.

And I can't find a plugin, or anything to fix this.

    HALP !

    Seb

Seb try this first and see if it works. Prior to entering the text: tab over to the HTML side and save (do not view it in editor after doing this *stay on HTML*). View the page and see if the characters display correctly.

In the event they do, the quick fix would be to just delete the visual editor and stick to the HTML tab which doesn't require full html anyways and is simple to use.
If you're going to bet US Sports online - I strongly suggest 5Dimes.com or Bookmaker.eu.

Not sure why, but that won't work. It might have to do with the meta tag on the page.

TIP: If you use putty at all to access your server, you need to change some settings to paste international characters. Look it up because I forgot what I did, might have been UTF-8.

Have you tried changing the character encoding of the database?

I use utf8_unicode_ci and haven't run into any problems with foreign characters.
