URGENT Help Needed -- $100+ to anyone who can solve

I had a coder switch over my main site from html to wordpress. Part of the site was already wordpress (the "news" section).

Now the news posts aren't being indexed and when I do a "fetch as google bot" it is is saying "not found".

PM if you think you can help and I am willing to pay $100+ for your time (depending on how long it takes).

Did you check your htaccess, is there a noindex somewhere?

There is a bunch of 301 re-directs and then this:

Note, when switched over it went from:

.com/news/ for the wordpress directory

now the posts section is just

.com/news

*no trailing slash* maybe has something to do with it?

If it was just switched to Wordpress, is there a possibility that the privacy in Wordpress is set to not allow search engines to crawl the site? Real basic, I know, but a lot of guys here have mentioned overlooking it.

Just checked Matt, that isn't the problem.

It is a lot more complex then just being switched to wordpress... sorry if I did a poor job explaining.

Basically I have a html site that had a folder "/news/" that was my wordpress blog.

I then had my entire 170ish pages of static html switched over to wordpress, and the "/news/" section mergered with it.

Now instead of logging into the ".com/news/wp-admin/" I can access the whole site via the ".com/wp-admin" because it is all under wordpress.

In the process the .com/news/ got changed to .com/news which is one of my worries to why it isn't working....


I suck with this stuff but will give a really good payout to anyone who can help me fix it.
