What's Your WP Setup?

Just several days ago posted my extensive list in another thread here. Enjoy the re-post!

These are the ones I install right after installing WP:

- CodeStyling Localization - if you need translating theme/plugin/etc. this helps to do it painlessly, straight in WP admin, no need of working with POedit, uploading po/mo files and so on.
- Easy Columns - adds nice buttons to editor for making column layouts in post/page
- TinyMCE Advanced - absolute must-have for quick tables and styling buttons in editor, has some other nice settings too.
- WP no category base - removes /category/ from posts URLs
- WP no tag base - removes /tag/ from tags URLs
- SEO all in one - absolute classic, never found anything better
- WP page navi - adds nice navigation buttons in category/archive/blog pages, instead of Previous/Next links. Needs some code editing though, but very simple, just changing two lines.
- Nrelate or Related Posts Thumbnails - for related posts. First one works perfectly and has astonishing styling possibilities, but does fit only for Dutch, English, French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Arabic, Swedish and Turkish languages, since it uses complex relation identification by content algorithm, not just categories and tags. For other languages, use Related Posts Thumbnails.
- SEO friendly images - configure and add TITLE and ALT automatically to all your pictures
- WP CSS Button (CTA-Button Plugin) - a really nice addition, if your theme does not have buttons shortcodes included. Configure buton color, text, link, placement, target attribute.
- BWP Google XML Sitemaps - very advanced automatic sitemap/siteindex generator and submitter
- WP cleanfix - DB cleanup within WP admin
- WP DB backup - generates and sends/saves database backups according your schedule
- Contact Form 7 - also a classic one, but the best for me

Optional (depends on the website needs) but also nice ones:

- Thank me later - sends a thank you email for comments authors, time/contents/etc can be configured
- Easy spoiler - add spoiler-like areas into posts/pages with one shortcode. Easy install and use.
- Sexy Bookmarks by Shareoholic - good looking social share buttons/widgets with many options and analytics. If these are "too much" I use Really Simple Share.
- Simple Events Calendar - if you need a calendar post/page/widget
- Print Friendly - to add a nice Print icon/text/link in posts/pages
- Redirection - for those needing it, but hating .htaccess
- Wordgallery glossary - if you need glossary pages
- TF FAQ - if you need FAQ pages, visitors can add their own questions, which will be seen in WP admin right away.
- Custom Avatars For Comments or Ravatar - both for more interesting comments avatars. First one lets visitors choose an avatar from given ones for each comment (you can add custom ones); second one has a picture folder, where you can put huge pictures (according your website topic) and it will make a constant avatar from a part of it for each comment author.
- Shortcodes Pro - add custom shortcodes, easy even for not advanced coders

I did not bother to include links as all of them can be easily found by name in WP Plugins Directory. Also, all of them are free

Some additional ones I found while developing recent website:
- Events Manager - very very extensive and complicated, but after confusion comes realization that it can do almost anything
- PHP Text Widget - to render PHP in widget
- Post-to-Facebook - if you need non-automatic solution for posting articles selectively to FB. Just adds button "Post to Facebook" in post editing page.
- Pretty Link Lite - for lightweight cloaking of images
- Strx Zurb CSS3 Awesome Buttons - really awesome buttons
- SweetCaptcha - fun and easy captcha, just need to drag and drop needed picture instead of boring random number input
- TimThumb Vulnerability Scanner - highly recommended. If you think your website is safe, don't. I thought so too...
- WP-InstantBackup - backups files and DB on request
- GD Star Rating - allows to set up advanced rating and review system for posts, pages and comments using single, multi and thumbs ratings.
