Default Simple more SEO Friendly Wordpress Theme?

Right now I am using a pretty simple wordpress theme called "PageLine" but after looking at the code I am guessing it sucks for SEO.

Check out the theme layout here hXXp://www.buysupplementsonline.org/

Does anyone know of a similar wordpress theme that is SEO friendly??

Willing to pay of course (doesn't need to be a free theme).

    Thanks

If it's just a simple theme your after then what about the standard Twenty11 theme. I've used it on a couple of sites and has a good backend as well. Also easy to edit things like header/logo/widgets etc.

I'll check it out but I'm trying to look for something that allows me to put a smaller logo in the top left and then a page navigation under it and also the right sidebar as well. Not sure I can do that with that theme? From what I thought you needed a big header that takes up a lot of the "above the fold". Am I wrong?

You can de-select the header at the top (assuming you mean the big image section) so then you could have your custom header and then a navigation bar below it. It is simple as I said, so not sure how simple you are wanting to go, but if you fiddle about it's a pretty clean theme if that's what your going for.

Thesis and Genesis (StudioPress) are both good. I prefer Genesis over Thesis. No matter which way you go you'll need to do some minor customizing though.

I like the look of some of the customized Thesis themes they have in their showcase. Any idea on how much it would cost for a bit of customization?

Here's a layout I like (minus the colors and some minor stuff).

No, but it does come bare bones out of the box, very much like your site now.

These themes from StudioPress would probably get real close to what you're after with very little customization.

    Minimum
Lifestyle - There are several color options so you don't have to go w/baby blue.
    Prose

Keep in mind that you'll need both the Genesis framework (if you don't have it) and then the child theme(s) ^.

I have a couple sites with the Lifestyle child theme if you want to see it live -- just hit me up on Skype.

I could most probably do this for you on the Dealer theme sometime.

I have found through use on multiple sites that both Twenty Ten and Twenty Eleven are very good for search optimization. Twenty Eleven is more customizable. However, there are a lot of good themes out there. You should browse the free themes and look for the qualities you want. Then see if you can find the candidates you like being used on successful Websites (not among your competitors, but for queries where the results look more natural to you).

That takes some research but I think it's well worth the effort.

I usually avoid anything that is labelled "seo friendly" like the plague.
