WP Comments Error

When trying to post comments on my blog it will re-direct people to the following page and 404 error:

hxxp://www.dropoutgotrich.com/wp-comments-post.php

Any idea why?

Also it was doing that to NewJabber for a while then he tried later and it worked. Very strange...

Yeah, saw that.. hmm.

Right now my hosting is down and the site isn't even loading

Looks like it is back up now, it loaded for me anyway. Have a look in your FTP, and check the permissions for that file. If they look different than the other files in there delete the file and upload a new one.

I had a similar error a few months ago and traced it down to a bad redirect in my .htaccess file. I suspect there could be several plausible causes for such an error.
