Looking for Image Pop-up Plugin

Can't seem to get any to work on my theme. I'm trying to get images to pop up without having to go to a new page.

Bump? Maybe its a problem with my wordpress code. When I try to install a couple of the popular ones the image pops up "behind" the other images and text on the page. So the thumbnail of the image overlays the actual popup image.

Use the url of the image, dont upload an image to a page, upload it to the media library.

This is one I have used in the past to pop up notices, you can use html, so just html the image, get the sizes right and it should do what you want.

I dont think that will work, unless you can do several different images per page. I'm looking for something like Lightbox but i've tried them all and same problem: images pop up behind the thumbnails. I'm thinking there is some kind of "Always on top" thing going on in my css file but not sure what would cause it.

Oh okay, you are not looking for a popup plugin you are looking for a lightbox plugin. I use this one some site and it does just that >

It works just like the pop images you get in the affiliate site reviews here at PAL.

Still no luck. I have the same problem with that as I do other programs. The thumbnails go on top of the image. I still cant post links yet but its got to be a problem with the code.

Your doing the lightbox right, it must be that div making them stay on top.

Even when the div is removed they still remain on top. As do any <h> tags and text in the <li> tags. It seems like all other texts get removed though.
