Default Recommendations for Mac compatible microphone

    Hi there,

I'd like to get your thoughts on a good mic to use for podcasts and YT videos please. I vaguely remember a post being made about this a while ago (possibly by Jeremy?) but I can't seem to find it now.

Can anyone point me in the right direction or just recommend a good model please? I think I'm probably trying to decide between the Blue Snowball and the Samson Meteor at the moment.

    Thanks a lot in advance!

I have used a blue snowball for quite a while. For a usb mic, it is probably going to be one of the best you can find, especially because it has 3 settings for omni-directional broadcasts if you need it. The Meteor is still pretty new so not a lot of reviews out on it yet, but it is probably equal quality I imagine.

Either way, I think you'll be happy with either mic. They are both 100X better than your laptop or onboard mic.
