Default Issues with Word and Vista

This has just happened today. I did an update lastnight and this morning Word is no longer working properly. I can type but I can't right click, and scrolling has been disabled. I have to use the right side scrolling bar to move the page down, and I cant copy and paste a damn thing which means I cant move content from word to pages . I've uninstalled and reinstalled Word '07 but it's still screwed up

Has anyone else had this happen or knows a fix. I googled a few forums and a few said to run Windows with admin access, but that's what I am on now so if that was the issue it should have worked. (and if anyone knows any other hot keys I can use till I figure this out that would be great since I know CTRL +V and CTRL C work.)

I know updates are important and all but if I did a system recover back to last week would that remove this update and fix word maybe.

*damn vista and damn MS with their updates

When you go to open Word, try a right click and Run as Administrator. Outside that, I've never had that happen so I don't even know where to begin. o.O

I'm not a techy person but more first thought was to do a system recover to go back to the way it was a few days ago.

If that doesn't work, you can always go for OpenOffice. It doesn't fix your problem but it is a perfect and free alternative to Microsoft Office. I use it and couldn't be happier.

Hmmm......another option you could try is to use the repair feature that comes with your Office Installation
