What would your ideal wordpress theme include?

Hi all,

I was wondering what the perfect wordpress template would allow you all to do.

I'm toying with the ideal of having a custom wordpress template created from scratch and wondered what you all would like to be able to do within the template.

I know that the 'High Roller' template offers a huge amount of control for a user allowing to create tables etc so was wondering if anyone else had an ideas?

The things that i am looking for here is what would make the ultimate wordpress template... things like the high roller template makes tables easy through the admin panel.

If you are looking for an all purpose good theme, I think you should go for clean code and ease of extending it. Different websites will need different things, and I think it would be very difficult to build some kind of theme to end all themes, unless you focus on providing a very good basic structure that is easy to extend.

The answer is different for everyone - I prefer to add my own functions and templates and hard code in plugins rather than using widgets.

Others want it all accessible via an options page in the backend, so they never have to edit a .php file or their css.

You need to decide which of those people you're targetting

4. Long footer to get an extra edge on SEO

Fpr adsense publisher , instead of searching for adsense enabled theme simply use Whytodowork wordpress plugin.
