    Default Posting problem

I have just upgraded to wp version 2.8 and now when i want to make a new post the option board where you put in links, colours etc. is gone.
I used a wp plugin to update the wp version.
Any one had this problem, or know what to do?

The show/hide kitchen sink button is missing. Is there anything in settings that by default gives you your manual controls back? You might have to look around for it - I've never had that problem and plan to hold out a little bit longer before moving to 2.8 --- I only recently decided to upgrade to 2.7...

I upgraded to 2.8 and all the options are still available. For the most part all of the general posts and pages seem to be normal.

However, I would suggest avoiding 2.8 if all possible. When entering code in the backend, for example the homepage.php or sidebar.php, the page seems to spaz out. I will try to move to the left or right of the page and all of a sudden it will just move on me to the bottom or top of the page (if that makes sense)

Anyway, Im glad I have everything saved in notepad on my computer because it did that once and I ended up deleting code by accident which f'd everything up pretty good.

Yes thats pretty screwed in my backend too.

The original problem has been solved.
I have been pretty busy updating my sites, so i dident do anything to solve the problem for 2 days.
I then wanted to get it fixed yesterday, and somehow it was back to normal
    Just happy it works again

I haven't upgraded to 2.8 yet either, still on 2.7 which is good, but probably need to upgrade soon. Is is bug free yet?

2.8 working for me flawlessly and with tons of plugins.

It has auto-upgrade now so you should get rid of your upgrade plugin.

Another suggestion: use the automatic backup plugin, it's awesome.
