    Default Problems installing WP theme

I'm not sure if anyone can help me with this, but I figured I'd ask in hope anyway

I'm trying to install a WP theme on to a domain I've just bought. I only switched the DNS settings this evening, but the default blue theme came up without any problem.

In fact, everything was fine until I uploaded the new theme. There was no preview image displayed, but I clicked the activate button anyway, and now the whole site has gone down. I can't even go back to the default blue theme - I just get a blank screen.

I don't think there's a problem with the theme as I've installed it on another domain (to test it) without a problem.

Anyone got any ideas what might be up?

    Thanks a lot!

Probably should re-check the dns settings... I've had similar happen. Turned out the dns settings needed reconfigured.

I'm rather hoping it's something like this, as I can't figure out what else it can be.

I thought that once DNS settings went through, that was that. Also, I can still access my admin area on the domain. It's just the site itself that won't display

I've thought the same thing. The most recent site, I would update, and it would "go dark," then i'd go back and re-submit the dns settings, and the changes would be visible. Had to do this two to three times before deciding I was wasting my time - and moved onto better things. The next day, it was fine - fyi

Is that as far as you got with it? Delete the wordpress install and try again if it's not too much lost time.
