wp hosting transfer issue

I've moved the wp site from one host server to another, matched up the databases, and imported everything as per the instructions here: How to move our Wordpress to Another Host via Database | BLOG DESIGN JOURNAL

I am, however encountering a problem, in that other than the backend of wordpress, only the home page is accessable. If I click on a link, i get a 404 error. Even when I republish a page or post, same error...

Any ideas?

.htaccess file fixed it... nevermind - rookie mistake
