Character encoding

Hello All,

So I made my first wordpress site a couple of weeks ago (about time )
The site was fine in Firefox but not Explorer, the problem were the ecoding (I guess working with database it's more sensitive?).

Explorer added a bunch of shit and not only in my text.

My Notepad++ encodes everything in ANSI so had to convert it to utc 8 without bom, regular utc 8 didn't work.

So my question is: can this fuck up the tracker code? if it's in ANSI?
Since Notepad have been encoding all my sites to ANSI I might have a problem?

I'm using php redirects by the way.

well, I hope someone knows something about this, haven't had a encoding problem before
