non blog WP layout

Hello WP friends,

I am looking for a WP layout, but not for a blog, for a regular site. I can code so I can make modifications, but the question is what is the best place to find a general layout for a regular site in WP.

WP as CMS in other words, not as blog. But an already made template layout general purpose, simple. I am not looking for a designer by the way.

I have searched google for hours, there are tons of things except what I described. Or there is but it was lost in the sea of other layouts.

I have stopped searching for free wp templates on the web. I used to search for hours to find a halfway decent theme. The last 3 themes I have used I bought and they are so much more professional looking and have much more functionality built in.

Look at themeforest.net that is where I bought my most recent CMS wp theme.

Hm.. Why is it that none of the free themes work?

You can change most WP themes so that the homepage is a static page in the WP Admin Options.

I've used lots of free themes in the past and made static sites using them.

If you want to see an example of a free theme I used to make a static site just PM me or something and I can send over a link.

The thing is a poker site has a different layout than a blog. No need for a column with archives, blogroll, etc. So I am just looking for a simple template for a regular site, but no big deal, will find something.

It can be customized to take out anything you don't want...

IE my sidebar only lists the pages as I took out all of the other code in the sidebar which would generally show archives, categories, etc.
