How to remove the 'Posted by' and 'Leave a comment' links?

I think it comes down to the type of content. For very generic information I probably would not care who wrote it or what other people thought about it. But for something unique and thought-provoking, I would want to know who the author is -- and if I were the author I know I would want people to know I wrote it.

There are plenty of Web sites where I don't attribute myself as an author on each page. I've just always allowed the blogs to insert my name, though. I've never really given the matter any thought.

That's a bit of laziness on my part, I suppose.

Indeed, you have a point.

But my content is not so text-based, it's more like "let's play poker" type of content; so I think text items don't find their use on my page.
