Help With A Small Video

Hey.
Been trying this myself for about 2 hours and cant figure it out.

Theres 2 videos from youtube, one is 7 mintues and the other is 5 minutes, i want to take the first 3 minutes of the first and the first 2 minutes of the second and make a 5 minute video.

This actually isnt for me, my sisters doing a presentation for school on Wed and needs it in her powerpoint.

If someone can help me out with this i can send you the links to the video?

You should have the software to splice the portions of the videos you want together.

I haven't converted from FLV using it yet but I don't see why it wouldn't.

Actually I cheated I used a video screen capture tool that also pics up the sound, played both videos and recorded them as avi, then edited them with my video editor and created a new one saved as wmv. I'm sure there was probably a simpler way, but this works for me.
