Default Internal links (a href) problem

Hi - I have a table with ten internal links like this one:

    <a href="#internal">go to internal links</a>

they point to ten different titles within the same webpage
    (like: <a name="internal">Internal Links</a>).

Now the problem is, that the page does not display anymore in Wordpress. Ok I thought this must be due to a mistake I made. Now the funny thing is, as soon as I remove any six of the ten a href="# - Links, the page is displayed.

What could be the reason that I am limited to only four internal a href-links??

Try this: The W3C Markup Validation Service

    Or post the URL.

Thank you Webmaster for this great link.

I pasted the whole html-code into a file and loaded it with the Internet Explorer - it worked fine. So my guess is that it is a problem with wordpress or with the customisation I did.

Anyway, after spending almost as much time for publishing the article as for writing it, I decided to do it without the internal links

It could be a PHP coding issue -- a logical oversight in one of the numerous little routines that make up Wordpress.

You might want to browse Wordpress.org's forums to see if people have discussed the issue.
