Could you elaborate a bit on the advantages of using custom fields compared to editing the theme?

Using custom fields could be good if you only want to use 1 template for lets say a review page template were there will be certain areas in that review beside the main review text.

Then istead of have different template for each room review you only need one.

But i think its just to messy to have it like that.

I really like the site design but why did you not include the left navbar in the same beautiful style the rest of the site is in. Also what made you want to automate the site?

I had been working on something similar in terms if automation. the goal was to leverage the custom fields to hold product info for a product review site. The info would be called onto a template formatted properly. I would then be able to just upload a .csv with any changes en masse without ever logging into wordpress. Only thing standing in the way now is time to get it done!

The advantage for me is that I can change around the casino sites whenever I want. If I want to promote let's say Cherry Casino in spot #1 I just enter a "1" in a custom field called rank. Cherry Casino would then apear as #1 on all subpages I want. This is just one example.
