    Default Site keeps getting hacked

One of my sites keeps getting hacked via my own ftp. Apparently I have malware on my computer and every time I upload anything through my ftp, it infects my site. I have run multiple malware removal programs and nothing is being detected on my machine.

Now, my site is being blocked by Google and reported as an attack site because this has happened three times apparently.

    Has anyone had this happen?

I am waiting for my host to clean up my site before I can submit my site to Google for a review. Beyond using another computer, is there any way I can be sure that there is no more malware on my computer before attempting to connect via ftp again?

I do not want to take the risk of infecting my site again. This may cost me quite a bit of money depending on how long Google takes to re-include my site.

Ugh... today has not started off well. Stupid fucking hackers.

I had this happen to me a few weeks ago, I got norton 360, it found some stuff, then got malwarebytes and superantispyware, the scans took about 7 hours but seems to have sorted it.

I would give this program a try if you haven't already:

    Malwarebytes.org

If all else fails you can always reformat. I just got a virus the other day and it disabled my Malwarebytes so I ended up getting Avast (free also). The thing I like about Avast is that it can scan and delete stuff before the OS fully loads. It missed many infected files though but it got my malwarebytes working and that took care of the rest. The downside to malwarebytes is its more of an "after the fact' program that won't prevent you from getting viruses.

ps..didn't notice pokerworx had already suggested malwarebytes

Did you use the free versions of these, or the full versions?

Free versions and I dont plan on keeping the Norton either so that's free to. I might end up buying it though it doesn't slow up my computer or break the internet or anything.

ESET Nod and Trojan Hunter seem to work well - could be too your ftp client is actually corrupt if you got it from one of "those" sites - I'd be looking for a new one

I use filezilla and this is the first problem that I have had with it in over a year. I will try those also Oz. Thanks.

My host has cleaned the malware from my site and I just sent through a site review request to Google. I'll let you guys know when it goes through. Anyone have any experience on how long it takes for Google to get a review through?
