Can't Update WP Pages

I'm having an issue on one of my WP sites, I keep trying to update it and it takes forever to "publish". When it finally does, it erases my updates and "updates" the page as if I hadn't changed anything.

Corrupt database?

Exact same thing happened to me yesterday.

I just asked my host to roll back to the previous weeks backup.

Did you recently upgrade wordpress by any chance?

Not on this site, I tried to update to 2.5 on another site two days ago and experienced complete failure so I didn't bother trying others.

Are you using any plugins that auto-publish to Twitter or anything else like that? I had an issue where the twitter API calls were being refused so updating/publishing posts were really slow.

Nope, I'm actually not using any plugins except xml sitemaps.
