Mysterious Ebay Add

I've seen this pop up a few times, and I can't find the cause of it.

Hover over the words 'rock band' and you'll see an ebay add, or I do at least.

I don't know where the add is coming from. I'm not even positive it's coming from the site and my pc isn't infected.

I checked the header files, footer, this pages source.. I don't see anything.

It's definitely not on the website which means it has to be coming from your computer, Cathy. Could it be your browser? Have you tried this in IE and FF? How do you know your pc isn't infected with adware or something?

Have you downloaded any programs recently or anyone else in the household? I had someone download something before, think it was SeekMo and everytime a realative word was spotted, related pop ups to that certain word would happen. I guess it was considered adware that had been downloaded into my computer. Maybe its something like that causing it.

Yep I found a program in my pc called ebay, haven't found where to get rid of it yet, but am scanning with adaware just now, thanks .

The shortcut was actually called ebay, the lil peice of addware was found here .. here: c:/Program Files/Hewlett-Packard/Shared/

it was called wizlink.exe

Addaware programs didn't find it sooo i reported it and just deleted it, hope that's enough to get rid of it.
