    Default Double Wordpress

Say you have a site which uses wordpress but the theme that's on it has been specially made for a static site can you install wordpress again on a subdomain or extension such as domainname.com/blog?

    Anyone done this before?

Not sure I fully understand your question or need, but the short answer is yes. You can easily install a second Wordpress in a subdomain. Installing a second Wordpress in a folder of a domain that has an existing Wordpress install would be slightly more difficult.

I justed added a blog and news section. Both are in their own folders (both separate, can do whatever I like to each of them) and my main site is static.

The need is so i can use a different theme on the blog as opposed to the site, some wordpress templates aren't suited to blogging.
