Is there a wp message board plugin

Hey guys im wondering if any of you know of a wp plugin that will act as a message board? I don't want a forum, I supposed I could use comments but I would like it so people can post messages and they show up like blog posts, any ideas?

I think the options you have is simple press which is a wp plugin and bbpress which requires a manual install like any other forum software. bbpress is developed by the wordpress crew so it should integrate fairly well, although i don't have personal experience with the software.

I've seen a few plugins that act like this, but they seemed really rudimentary and had pretty weak interfaces. I haven't looked lately, but generally id really recommend a forum. Free ones like SMF or phpVB are actually quite good, and miles ahead of the wordpress stuff ive seen.
