"And I challenge anyone to comment in this blog on how spending my tax dollars on the above makes any sense."

When you're stuck between a rock and a hard place, there's often no ideal solution to getting yourself out of the jam. The bailout is kind of like free market economics or even democracy... hate it all you want but until you can find a better solution it's all we've got. The real question is would the bailout have passed without the projects your against? I think Obama is playing his cards close to his chest and knows that he's got to appease some people to get important things done in Washington (like credit flowing again asap). Naturally you're going to pissed off that a unionized button pusher in Detriot is taking the rake on your paycheck to help with their retirement, but if you look at the economics behind car manufacturing you'll realize that the big 3 are more important to North America then most of us realize. In my opinion anyone who says "let them fail, they'll soon be replaced by a car company that is actually profitable" is an idiot, not even Toyota is profitable right now (and do we really want our own car manufactures to fail so the foreign ones can scoop up their market share?)

Is this the one where the condom balloons are banging and there is a very suspicious scene where a male animal (I refer too as Brandon B) is giving and receiving?

What's even worse is that all this money for crap like that and the stimulus package is going to be the repercussions of printing all that fiat money! Wait 'till inflation hits because of this money printing!

Lol, I never thought about it like that, wowza! I remember I used to have discussions years ago where I'd mention if I made a million dollars/day for the rest of my life, I still wouldn't catch up to Bill Gates (who had 50 billion networth at the time) and that blew my mind.

But the Jesus analogy is really ridiculous!

See that is the REAL issue with our economy - America does not make ANYTHING anymore. Going to be hard to create jobs when they are naturally disappearing.

LOL, good stuff bro. I actually had a pager and a "bag phone" back in the day. I use to swear I would never be one of those cell phone talking assholes. Now, here I am with a 6 computer network in my home, blackberry, and I'm even thinking about getting one of those ghey bluetooth headset things I hate too for driving.

I'm pretty sure Mrs. Enke is like mine, she will tolerate a bunch as long as the bills get paid AMIRITEW?

Man its great to knwo that I'm not alone. I really don't think most people know what is happening right now. There is so much pork in this bill its sick and I honestly think our congress needs arrested for passing it.

There is so much more going on then what the major news outlets are reporting, CNN, MSNBC, etc are all in the pocket of the extreme left. It's a sad time in our country.

Even Google is joining the nutty liberals, they have announced a multi-billion dollar venture with the biggest lobbying group in the world, GE - I never thought google would take up company with the most liberal people in the country.

God, I could go on and on, but it looks like you are paying attention and that makes me feel better.

    Good post J

Hahahah, well I didn't make the post for viral purposes, although I suppose it could be. I guess living in the U.S., it just gets more and more frustrating everyday watching the government spend trillions of our tax dollars stupidly.

And I agree PN, so much for change. Same old B.S., just a different president and party. The U.S. will be a completely socialist country in the next few years anyways.

Take the BB, it is cheaper and much easier to figure out!

Jeremy, You had me cracking up over here (pardon the pun!). That was short but very accurate. My ex-girlfriend used to get so pissed off that she would pretty much ignore me if I picked up my 'berry while at dinner or in bed. Although, at times it made for fun tool that used to buy me a few moments of silence as long as I could ingore the death stare ;-)

I did actually have a phone that came in a leather bag that was about that size. Then I upgraded to a Startec 500 flip phone!

Jeremy when the guys post Facebook pics of you in Vegas and nearly every pic of you has your BB in it. Your either holding it or checking messages. You have a problem sir that can only be dealt with BB rehab and I am sure Mrs. Enke would approve :) (jk) Actually I hate cell phones so I wont bother with a BB. I refuse to get one, hubby has his and I cant stand having to text someone a message. I can write a 1000 word review in no time but ask me to send someone a message and I get so pissed off at the stupid thing I just close it:p

and btw the pager thing omg did I laugh. Did you have one of these to?

To be honest I hate being "connected" all the time. When I go out somewhere I don't really want to check the interwebs or be accessible.

I broke down recently and purchased a cell phone for business purposes, but that's about it (i.e. I'm not using it to check email or browse the net)

I spent PLENTY of time in front of my computer at home that I need the disconnect when I'm out running errands or shopping or whatever.

My problem is that my wife and I are both home all the time, so there's no time away like you'd get if one of you was punching the clock. Being around someone that constantly can be difficult, because no matter how much you like or love someone, you don't really want to interact with them 24 hours/day.
