There has Got to be something good to come out of this. I remember the sky was falling when Uigea went down but a lot of us who stuck with it came out stronger.
Agree 100% - I have had an eventful 24 hours, and then I finally get online @ 7pm CST and see the chaos. At first I was shocked, confused, and for personal reasons thought a bunch of my friends were playing a joke on me.... Thankfully only 20% of my traffic comes from the US, so I guess that's good. I do worry about moving money around now though. Getting payments, etc. I think and fear a lot of people will panic and do rash things. I've had 2 hours sleep in the past 48 hours, so I'm going to pop some pills and sleep for a solid 8 hours and wake up and get to work. We all know what we need to do if we stick in this game.
I see a lot of people thinking about selling all their affiliate sites now. I would say don’t do it. Even if these top rooms go down in the U.S., the online poker industry will continue to evolve. While it might be a good decision in a few months, right now, it is a premature snap call.
^^^^^^This Excellent post J!
I agree with everything you said J. That being said - my offer still stands...if you need a warm cot and some beer and wings...you know where you can find them - up in Iglooville! Good luck to all...if we stick together and don't lose "our" values - the situation can be profitable for everyone...there is always "some" silver lining.
WOWW!
I signed up man - I'll let you know how it goes..
I've had a passion for precious metals for a few years and started buying primarily silver a couple years back. So for me, it's been awesome because I actually love talking about gold/silver. And to be honest, it's been a nice little getaway from the gaming industry for a while. It's nice to see what other affiliates outside of gaming are doing and what methods they are using for their affiliate campaigns.
Interesting to see you branchig into this area.
This is awesome, Jeremy you are still a hustler
Apmex is one of the best gold and silver suppliers online that I know of... personally used and recommended already and since it's through CJ this is a no brainer. I've been pushing a small amount of gold and silver traffic to ebay already and it will be nice to feature apmex on the site and invest in growing the traffic.
Awesome! As a user of both Apmex and CJ I had been seeing the changes. I think you have done great things for them! Great job Jeremy!
I love hearing success stories like this. Way to take advantage of the opportunity and do something you are passionate about. Best of luck moving forward!
I'm always amazed at people like you that recognize an opportunity where nobody else did, or at least acted on it. You know how I feel about this, Gaming is so volatile right now, I would be scared to death if I didn't have other income sources. Non-gaming niches are so much easier to compete in after you have fought through gaming, we all have a serious advantage, so projects like this can be fun and rewarding. Anyway, good stuff man and congrats on the initial success! Maybe now Greg P can quit hitting the Oklahoma "Food Bank" :-)
Thanks for sharing Jeremy, always great to learn about different markets and especially how to make $ from them.
Wow congratulations, its crazy that such a large market had no affiliate programs. 6 figures in 14 days? Next you could launch a click bank product detailing exactly how you did it! :p
Ha man we should golf it sounds like we are on the same level (been shooting 98 and 99 pretty consistently).
We will after Affiliate Summit, I'm also bringing my personal blog back with a fresh new design. At the moment however I am on summer break and extremely busy trying to break 100 two games in a row on the golf course.
Bring.......the.......radio.....show......back!
Great post J!
Awesome post to wake up to Jeremy, you should try and blog once a week or something
